Welcome to NKMS

The Nando's Kitchen Management System (NKMS) connects your POS system to the kitchen, routing orders to the right stations and keeping your kitchen display screens up to date in real time.

This documentation is intended for Ops and IT teams responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining NKMS in a restaurant environment.

What does NKMS do?

When a customer places an order at the till or kiosk, NKMS:

1. Receives the order from the POS system
2. Routes each item to the correct kitchen station (e.g. grill, sides, drinks)
3. Displays the order on the relevant Kitchen Display Screen (KDS)
4. Tracks the order through preparation to collection
